Are you a Winner!!

How many times have you won a game for your team?
How many times have you won an award for academic excellence?
How many times have you been voted the best amongst your pals?
How many times have you won anything?

Do you remember the first time when you touched glory? Do you find it difficult to recall. No recall the first time you felt humiliated when you lost. These memories flash pretty fast isn't it. Well thats natural, negative/sad memories have deeper adherence to feelings generated at a particular event.

No I am not preaching the same old phase "Failure is necessary for Success". I have particular personal attachment to this phrase though. I was at this debate competition in my school days, the very first one of my life. How I ended up being there is another story. The topic of the debate was "Failure is necessary for Success" and guess what I fought to speak against it. All that confidence that you have when you are in the audience chair vaporises almost instantly when you stand on the podium, keep the reference write up and face the mass sitting in front of you gawking at you. I was almost petrified of an unknown fear. I barely mustered the courage to say the opening greeting that the electricity went off. This was my chance to escape from the embarrassing situation. No I never finished the debate rather i said just 4 lines out of 3 pages I wrote. But what that did to me was amazing. It made me realize that I cannot stand and speak this realization was nothing less that winning a battle.

Sometimes its of benefit to be a looser. It gives you the broad perspective of viewing yourself from the eyes of others through the expression on their faces.

Is winning always the most important thing in life? For sure it gives a splendid feeling. Winning is the most relative terms after Happiness on the face of the earth.

Someone told me its important to be a looser to be a winner. Its always your choice what you want. Its not about the outcome but the realization of the fact thats its a never ending quest. How ever hard you try to win or even if you happen to win, is it really you who has won..!!

Winner and loser are as subjective as they seem for it actually depends which side u are.

Being loser is certainly not good, and being loser for a long time is far more problematic coz u get in a habit of being a loser.. [:p]..

Nonetheless...a good write..keep writing..cheers!!
